Established in 1999 by two friends (who met in Oxford) fresh from separate travels, bonded by a love of good times, great cocktails and a shared refusal to get an office job, Thirst Bar Oxford was born.
That original energy is still very much alive. Over the years, we've held onto what matters: proper hospitality, excellent drinks, and a healthy streak of rebellion.
We're proud to be one of the few truly independent bars still going strong in Oxford.
We love good people, honest fun and creating a relaxed space where anyone can come as they are, let loose, and dance like no one's watching.
